PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD- Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley made the announcement today at a COVID-19 media conference at the Diplomatic Centre in St. Ann’s on Saturday; from October 1, 2021, fully vaccinated students in forms four, five, and six can attend face-to-face classes in the new upcoming school term.
PM Rowley correctly stated that other arrangements will be made for unvaccinated students with the Ministry of Education.
Since March 2020 some school children have been undertaking online classes; the virtual school will resume on September 6.
